When you enter your display page description text the formatting of text size and fonts will be handled automatically by our system to ensure a uniformity to the display pages. However it is possible to use some basic HTML commands for some simplistic additional formatting.

These are:

Underlined
To create underlined text you need to use either the or in front of the text you want underlined and either or after the text you want underlined. Using the command underlined text will give you underlined text. Please do consider how and when you use underlined text very carefully as when using the internet underlined text normally indicates a link is present.

Bold
To create bold text you need to use either the or in front of the text you want bold and either or after the text you want bold. Using the command bold text will give you bold text.

Italics
To create italic text you need to use either the or in front of the text you want bold and either or after the text you want bold. Using the command italic text will give you italic text.

Lists – numbered
The following example indicates what you would need to write in the display description area in order to create a numbered list:


    Example List
  1. item 1 in my list
  2. item 2 in my list
  3. item 3 in my list


This gives an outcome on your display page of:

    Example List
  1. item 1 in my list
  2. item 2 in my list
  3. item 3 in my list


Lists – bullet points
The following example indicates what you would need to write in the display description area in order to create a bullet point list:


    Example List
  • item 1 in my list
  • item 2 in my list
  • item 3 in my list


This gives an outcome on your display page of:

    Example List
  • item 1 in my list
  • item 2 in my list
  • item 3 in my list
